In conclusion, the presence of  Assistive Technology (AT) in care institutions and homes protect the lives of the aged. My major project explore the benefits and applications of assistive technology, and this area of mobility devices for care institutions and homes is another application of AT,  with its own numerous advantages.

In order to also explore more areas of application, I structured my survey questionnaire to provide information as to the demography and applications of AT across professions, ages and genders. Proceeding in this case study would involve research into other  more defined areas, for example, elementary schools, or gyms, and analyzing the use of AT in these fields.
