Initial Project Plan (Gantt Chart)

According to Lutkevich (2021), "a Gantt chart is a horizontal bar chart developed as a production control tool in 1917 by Henry L. Gantt, an American engineer and social scientist. Frequently used in project management, a Gantt chart provides a graphical illustration of a schedule that can be used to plan, coordinate and track tasks in a project". As part of the computer skills and research module, I have been assigned to create a Gantt chart showing my process in a timeline, relating to my blog.

My first thoughts while using this software was how easy the user interface (UI) was, for someone like me, who prior to this lesson, barely know what a Ghant chart was. However, after using a pre-designed template, and inserting all my information, it still looked clustered, and some information especially the overlays were very illegible. I immediately began seeking ways to solve this problem.

Not long after, I was able to solve the problem of illegibility, and improved the formatting of the headings in the chart. I gave the chart a title, when I was satisfied with my work, and afterwards, I took a screenshot and saved it to my PC.
